Yes, it really pains us most. We would have seen them so strong that we were being carried by them till we are about 4 or 5 years old. then they hold our hand and take us round. They make us cross channels, they take us up the hills.
When time comes, they teach us how to get into a bus or how to ride a bicycle.
When time comes they show us what are the good values of life.
Don't do any bad thing. don't harm others even if you can't help them.
All these and much more.
But when time comes they become restless. Helpless. They have to depend on us.
It pains us very much.
the same person who has done so much to us now lies helplessly on the bed.
We have to just see them suffer.
We have our own job, responsibilities. But seeing them watching us helplessly pains us.
