Mother son relationship

My wife Usha was asking my son Sughosh, what do you want to take for lunch tomorrow to the college? Then she told 'is Pongal ok?' When he said 'yes', she again asked 'can you take Tomato Bhath?'

I could not contain myself. I told 'why worry, you already told him pongal, now why are you confusing him?'

She told 'why are you coming between me and my son? I can ask anything to him. let him answer' This is typical mother son relationship. Father has no say I think!

Some other time she would be complaining about him to me and I am supposed to sort out any issue. Some times he complains about her to me.

But all said and done. They are one. I feel like an outsider!

He goes to my sister's place to stay once in a while. He calls his mom almost everyday and says 'mom, it is 3 days since I have seen you. I will come back today'

So, he comes back.

I am telling him to go to the US of A for higher studies. May be his mom has to go with him!!!
