Dilemma in a different situation!

This is a typical Indian home's story. It could be my home or any one else's.
The grandfather or grandmother is ailing and is on the bed with a lot of pains in the body. But the tongue and ears would be sharp.
The grandchildren are grown up to teens. They neither have their own intelligence nor they listen to any elders.
Now the fun starts. The grandchild keeps talking to the parents. The parents know better than making comments. Because the kids won't take it kindly.
But the grandparent does not care. The comment comes out almost immediately.
Lo, the home becomes a virtual hell.
The middle people, the parents of the kids, can't take any side or cannot make any comment to smoothen the situation. They have to become just plain spectators.
Because the parents have been brought up strictly by their parents. (Today's grandparents). So they try not to hurt their parents. The kids won't take it kindly.
Who will tell the grandparents that times have changed? Do you think they would listen to you?
