When Demons and Gods fought for Amruth, the heavenly nectar, the hill used by them to churn the ocean started slipping. Then Lord Narayana took the form of a huge tortoise and slid below the hill and held it properly for these two groups to bring out the nectar. the first thing that came out was haalahala meaning poison. Lord Shiva drank it and made things easy for the churners.
so, world would have both poison and nectar. The nectar would not come immediately. First the poison would come out.
Even in any discussion, the bad blood should flow out first. once the dirt gets cleared, we get a sweet result.
