Amma

The word Amma means mother in some languages of Southern India. The comparison to the Pranava Om is done by many. A u m when you pronounce together, it is Amma. Mother in English, Mutter in German, Ammi in Urdu, Maa in Hindi and so on.
God could not be in many places, so he has created mother is another saying.
When a bad son goes to kill his mother, to please his girl friend. He brings her head on a plate to show it to his girlfriend. He trips and falls and the head asks ' are you hurt son?'
This is mother.
There could be any other relation which are duplicated. But no mother. She is one and only one.
I remember an incident. When I went to the USA, we were greeted by everyone who crossed us on the road. I made a comment, people on the road are greeted daily. But mother is greeted once a year on Mother's day! I did not mean any mean thing here. The mother is a strong entity in the USA. But in India, she is strong but she would be in the background.
